Let us know what you think. We've tried to bring together all the best things from previous versions of the game with some excellent new features suggested by forum members over the last year. The game balance feels just right making it incredibly addictive. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

I'm not going to download the Demo as it's apperently going to take an hour, so i'll just buy it tomorrow. Can't wait though,

One question, mainly to Chris Child if you're around :) The feedback you gain from this forum (and its a great idea which was lacking from the previous games) will it definately make some kind of differnce. I know from PlanetCricket, theres thousands of ideas, some good some aweful. :) Nice to see a forum for the game though!

In all fairness, any game with Monty on the front i'll buy!

Just downloaded it and given it an hour of play and must say its a great improvement on the last version of ICC !!!

However im dissapointed to find that players such as David Harrison who plays regular for Glamorgan does not have any records for that player, Du Toit of Leicestershire is also the same! Will records be updated if they are missing in updates?

It was also very interesting to see so many all rounders! Kyle Tudge is not an all rounder but is classed one in this game but surley Tim Bresnan is an all rounder for the fact he scores many a run and takes wickets, the same could be said of the ever improving Stuart Broad!

Also will new kolpak players such as Shaun Pollock, Van Der Wath, Wavell Hinds etc be included in their respective teams in the next update?

I know these are only minor issues but surley they should be addressed?

Just downloaded and had a quick hour exploring and first impressions are good. The general/match interface are a massive improvement on ICC3, and playing the game is easier and faster.
I have noticed an improvement in the fielding graphics too.
The new training options are excellent and its nice to be able to work on different aspects of technique with your players.
The only petty(very petty) things i can pick up on are database errors with my Notts squad and the horrible team badges/logos, where did you dig that horrible robin hood badge from?, we have been using the stag for years now.
But overall this has the makings of the best yet.

There are plans for a roster update in the future. as I understand it.

As for the Notts badge, that's probably an image rights issue.

Some initial impressions of the game:

- when batsmen turn for a third run, sometimes they freeze shortly after taking off for the run. However, the run is actually completed without trouble in the stats. This happened in ICC3 too.
- Left arm pacers are don't seem to be so overly expensive as they were in previous versions.
- haven't seen too many bouncers yet.
- number of sixes is better.
- when the batsmen that has come in most recently in a partnership overtakes the score of the other batsmen, a wicket doesn't fall pretty much straight away as in previous versions.
- would like to see some variety in the leg bye animations.
- I like the training feature.
- many more players seem available to choose for international squads.
- would be good to be able to declare during a break rather than just before or just after.
- haven't had a chance to see if the 4th innings ridiculously big scores in chasing down wins even on difficult pitches still happens.
- the code needs to be sorted so that when a new ball is taken, the appropriate bowlers use it.
- haven't had a chance to see if spinner domination still wrecks the international game.

Enjoying the game so far. :)
