Resolution workarounds?

I'm about to take off on a trip away for several weeks, and ICC seems like the perfect way to fill a few dull hours! However, I'm aware that ICC2009 doesn't support integrated graphics, and in any case my Netbook doesn't seem capable of adjusting to 1024x768.

I've browsed the forum but can't see any specific advice, so I thought I'd ask:

1. Is there a workaround to getting ICC2009 to run in a screen resolution other than 1024x768 (I can't find an ini file to edit or any such thing to drop it into windowed mode)

2. Will previous versions ICC2008 or ICC3 run in different resolutions? I'm not fussed about using the latest version, I just want to subject myself to the all-too-realistic humiliation of watching Essex lose again and again, whether it's past, present or future ;)

Yes. ICC2009. Which is why I'm asking about the resolution :)

Haven't downloaded ICC2008, maybe I'll give that a go next!

ICC2008 is 800x640, as are all previous versions.
