International Players

Since I am 99% sure that the International fixtures are the same in every game (for the first few seasons at least), and since I don't think anybody has done so already I've put together a list of players to assist with picking international players for your county side so you can pick the highest quality player without finding that they're going to be on international duty for half the season (A good example being me signing Yousuf for season 2).

Season 1 (2009/10)
Australia - April to March
India - June to July, October to March
New Zealand - June, August, October to November, January to March
Pakistan - June, October to March
South Africa - April, June, November to March
Sri Lanka - June, August, November to December
West Indies - April to July, November to February
Bangladesh - June, December to February
Zimbabwe - June

This is of little importance though as even if your county does not already have an international for season one you probably won't have enough funds to sign one.

Look to sign - Pakistanis, South Africans, Bangladeshis or Zimbabweans

Avoid - Australians, Indians, New Zealanders, West Indians

Season 2 (2010/11)
Australia - October to March
India - October, January to March
New Zealand - October to March
Pakistan - April to May, August, November to March
South Africa - November to March
Sri Lanka - August, December, February to March
West Indies - April to October, January to March
Bangladesh - April to May, October, February to March
Zimbabwe - October to November, January to March

Look to sign - Australians, Indians, New Zealanders, South Africans or Zimbabweans

Avoid - Pakistanis, West Indians

South Africa - June to February
Sri Lanka - April to May, August, October, January to February
West Indies - April to May, October to March
Bangladesh - August, November to December, March
Zimbabwe - November to March

Best? Australia, Zimbabwe, India and Pakistan

Worst? South Africa. Just don't do it.

yeah, great idea as it will stop a lot annoyance, but sometimes the best players only come up when their team is touring.

that's fairly realistic though. for example, philip hughes at middlesex this year

But you cant sign short term players though, something which I think needs to be added in the next version.

I wouldnt pay 110000 for Hughes if he was only gonna play the first few matches.

I think you should be allowed to have 3 or 4 international players, but only be allowed to play each match with 1 or 2 of them.
