What is funny with this name anyway?

I have a Johnathan Agnew in my game. He plays as a keeper for Lancs. If only we had a Johnathan Agnew who was a RM bowler, we'd be in business! And is Boycott a regen name? I want a little Geoffrey Boycott, or at least his mother (she'd probably be better!)

EDIT @Stanley - Johnathan Agnew is the name of a well respected English broadcaster and cricket commentator, and he provides he commentary for this game.

I decided my young regen opener Gerald Robertson would much rather be named Jerry. I kept his initial as G though.

Of course you can, but if the game actually comes up with them, it's funny/good in some way! Good decision with Gerald. I normally change really outdated names (Larry Middleton becomes Liam Middleton and so on)
