anyone else found that in game sidebottom is the best bowler? even bouncing out the aussies on australia :P
im sure it should be swan or anderson but sidebottom seems to be in a different league

Yeah, I agree, but I'm not complaining.
On the other hand, Broad doesn't seem to be good enough.

Yeah that's certainly true. Broad never seems to be good enough when I use him. Jonathan Clare is still way too good as he makes the English one-day team, but in real life most people have never heard of him and he struggles for a spot in the Derbyshire XI.

Agree with that. On the other hand many good players dont perform in this game but they are good in real life for example MS Dhoni who is once again not good inthe eyes of game makers:p

Yes, I watched him play Second XI against Sussex at Horsham yesterday, (mind you Panesar and Joyce were in the Sussex team :p) anyway, he didn't bowl (I don't think, he might have had one or two from the other end) and was out cheaply with the bat.

A fit Sidebottom may well be Englands best bowler. When he was fit in 2007/8 he was streaks ahead of anyone else.
Maybe a little long in the tooth now though.
