Chris surely must put some local leagues in for countys to look at with the option of signing any of the players. It would make the database big enough then. Rather than just the bog standard 30 players at the end of the year. It would also allow you to build your own team wengere style with the youth. You could get updates from scouts scouting some of the top amature leagues about youngsters, local newspapers could ask you whether your looking at certain promising players. This would improve the game 10 fold!

Easier said than done what with the vast amount of research that would need to take place.

Hmmm but then as every management type game strives for as much realism as possible i doubt this would be a step in the right direction. A good idea for sure but as long as it's implemented to it's full potential.

It wouldn't be to difficuilt to get a list of registerd players from 4/5 top amature leagues in the country. I'm sure chris could even say to a couple of people that he'd sort them out with the game for free if they could give him information on there local league that if they send him a list of registered players and then a seperate one made up by the local guy with the best 1st teamers and best juniors in the league. I'd do it.

But how much of a market would there be for local leagues in an ICC game?

I'd prefer to see an expansion to other domestic leagues than English local leagues to be honest.

I think some of you may have misunderstood what I am saying. I dont mean that you could play as a local club. just that there there and players are available. I think there will be a sizeble market for this anyway. Especially if advertised at all the local leagues and players will know that there in the game there bound to buy it. For this reason i think the profit margains would be very high. I don't think it would cost to much money in setting up either. Unless I have missed something major out??

This is definitely a possibility for next year, depending on the licensing available. That's all I can say at this stage.

Lol, etc. Highly unlikely.
just like to say think this is a great idea, would give people a good sense of achievement to sign an unknown player and turn him into a class proffesional. I personally wouldnt be bothered if the players were made up or real would be great both ways.

Leagues below the County second XI are a long way off I'm afraid, definitely not in 2009.
