Terminating players contracts.

How do I do this?

I have played out my first season with Leicestershire, and now I want to terminate a couple of players' contracts as they are surplus to requirements and I need the finance, how do I do this I have tried many ways?

Terminating player contracts is done on the first screen of the transfer window, not in your first season though.

You get to the 'transfer window', it says something like, "You need to decide which players you want to keep and which players you want to release", on that very first screen you have 4 tabs iirc. Players whose contract has run out and needs renewing, your youth team players capable of promotion, budget and squad. If you go to the squad screen, click on one of the players and you should have an option to Terminate contract. I think you have to pay half of whatever his contract was. eg, £40,000, you terminate his deal, you get £20,000 added to your budget, rather than the full £40,000.

Thats pretty good from someone who hasn't got the game, and only has ICC 06, Sureshot :p
