So what's the verdict on whether teams can still chase down ridiculous scores in the new version, then?
I only ask because having praised ICC III the other day I then had S. Africa chase down 504 on day five on a wicket that was turning square and a minefield for the fast bowlers to exploit, in conditions that were so dark that the batsmen had to go off for light at one stage. Oh, and with a bowling attack that featured Harmison, Flintoff, Anderson, Panesar and Rashid.
I don't mean to whinge, as I know people have had the same problem before, but jeez-us. Has anyone come across similar problems in 2008? If not, I think I might be changing my opinions about buying the new version!
