Hey.
In light of the recent test series WI v ENG, I have been thinking about some of the things that could maybe be improved with the game.
1. More statitics that can be accessed - for instance, they showed James Anderson becoming the leading person in Tests without getting a duck. I know that's really obscure, but stuff like when a batsman hits a century something pop up that says
100* not out, 11th Test Century, 3rd against WI
So then you can see how good players are against different teams. For instance, Warne was rubbish against the WI in the WI, so he was dropped for 2 tests in the WI. Stuff like that could actually be really useful to know for international selection.
2. Again on the more statistics, something that when you view the Player Profile's, it would again be helpful to see stats against different teams. So like say if it was Essex vs. Worcestershire, and you selected Alistair Cook's profile, it would be handy to see his statistics against Worcestershire.
I do appreciate that it would take alot more statistical searching to get this stuff. But I really think it could improve the gameplay.
3. I think it would be handy to have Stadium names back. I remember on the old ICC games they had the stadium names, and I think it would be good to have them back now. And going back to statistics, it would be useful to know how teams have faired at different stadiums... not neccessarily county wise... but definately in the International game, for instance, England have a great record at Edgbaston, and it would be great to see statistics such as wins/losses, highest scores, highest total chased down... etc. etc.
Don't know whether they are feasable or whether others would want it as well.
