No improvement in stats?

Just read the IGN review and am somewhat disappointed that stats in the game havent been improved?

I mean come on guys, cricket is a game of stats! How can you guys not have developed a searchable database along the lines of what is over at cricinfo.com?

You already have the database at your disposal. Surely it wouldnt take too much more effort to make that database functional (or even something as simple as searching past players who have retired).

chris and co, tell me you have plans to increase the functionality of stats within the game, please?

Please tell me this isn't true!, I won't be buying the game then, ive been fooled every year. Quite frankly the original game with Wisden like stats and records would have been ample for me. Im gutted.
