I don't want it gift wrapped and you wouldn't have the power or capacity to have that arranged in any case.

It's interesting that you essentially called my post moronic and stupid, but were not able to build a sound reason to rebut any of the information I put on there.

I am not having a go at the company, I just want them to show a little more professionalism when dealing with customers (i.e. don't say the things mentioned above like a sooky child).

If you are a fan and not a representative of the company, I wouldn't expect for you to explain any of the reasoning behind this failure, that is not your business nor your job and henceforth I was not seeking such information from you.

And to clarify this point, which a lot of people seem to smugly insist on emphasising, you and all the others are no better or real a fan of the game simply by being passive and trying to suck up to the administrators by showing exaggerated and misappropriated sympathy.

I think Childish Things have done a big mistake in unnecessary telling the release date (that also wrong) . I guess it would have been better to release the game without telling anyone and giving everyone a huge surprise.

All expectations are higher and till now it is all heartbroken.

Don't forget our website for the most up to date information and of course, the game will be available from there.

I take it this is to do with wrapping the packing in Installshield or WISE or whatever (from what you've intimated).

Nothing to do with the functionality of ICC, and not really in the control of ICC programmers.

With this downloadable version will I be able to play on both my work PC and home PC as I do at the moment with ICC08 (bit of a pain having to take the CD to work and then remember to take it back home again, but at least I can play it at both locations) or will I need to wait for the boxed version?

Just been reading through the forums over the past few days and eagerly awaiting the new version of ICC 09 to see how some minor improvements in the match engine turn out.

Would like to become more involved on here over time and hopefully contribute to the 2010 realease which will hopefully bring about a complete overhaul of the game in its entirety.

I have played the new Cricket Coach and I have to say, I am not overly impressed with the user interface, the mouse toggle or the way in which the game actually works. I will forever be an ICC fan but with a limited budget it can only progress so much.

Looking forward to trying the new version before I consider buying it this year but hope that others online will continue to create kit patches for the game.

I am in no way suggesting you or Childish Things consider the customer unimportant. I just dont see how Liquifier thinks they have the right to demand answers just becuase they are an apparent loyal customer. The customer is important, but surely only to an extent.
No pretty much the customer is the most important thing a company has, that is marketing and management 101 and this point was soundly and correctly backed by the administrators themselves. You should pretty much not attempt to undermine this fact any more as anybody who has any sense will understand that a customer has the right to REQUEST not DEMAND (as you incorrectly and intentionally put it) information. This information has since been given, the game has been released and we are on our way. But you would have to be absurd to even think or suggest that a customer is not the main priority for any business, profit or not for profit. That is just plain ignorance and stupidity.
