Is the game coming with a simple stats and player roles editor? or you have more plans to milk us for the next database update in 2010 version?

What you were saying is all ICC is is a yearly update, not a new game. Chris and Co have said from Day 1 they won't be putting in an Editor because it detracts from the main aim of their game. No matter how hard you push for it, I don't think they'll do it because the game becomes pointless, and they really will be 'milking' us for our money.

My point is, if you feel you are being 'milked', which is a very absurd claim seeing as you haven't played the game yet, download the trial, play it for a couple of days, if you don't wanna spend the money, continue playing ICC08 without the patch with the aftermarket editor someone created.

All problems solved.

Read my post again I am talking about simple stats and player roles editor (which can be use in future to update the database) I am not talking about ability editor and BTW Chris promised that he will think about simple editor (just read the thread in ICC08 forum) ,so is there any plans for the editor?

Chris's time is best spent working on patches and the new game. Since it was possible to create an editor with the last game, it will probably be possible to do it again this year.

As with last year, there will be a thread to report any database issues, and a patch will be created if necessary and possible. Beyond that, it's unlikely Chris will create an editor himself. We're confident that the database will be much more accurate than in previous versions.

All I ask is that, if (big if) you guys go under, please release an editor as a parting gift so we can continue as an underground community :P

And I beg you to not use ACCURATE DATABASE OF OVER 2000(or something players) from now on as a No1 feature for future ICC releases its really pisses me/us off.

Woah, buddy. We have no plans of going under. :)

I think the problem with the database complaints is how long it took us to get the patch out last year, through no fault of our own. You are being a bit hot headed though, Muhammad.

As I've stated elsewhere, often errors can be just opinion (Neil Carter - some say bowler, some say all-rounder) others can be the game itself, I believe Aus mentioned before about Cullen Bailey and the game making him a batsman when he is a bowler. Sometimes it can be a genuine mistake in the coding, rather than actually thinking x batsman is actually a bowler. We do research player types.

Yeah. Maybe Muhammed should create is own version of ICC rather than aggressively tell the people who can be bothered creating a version what to do and what not to do.

Maybe then you'll realise it's not as easy as downloading a movie.
