I hope we get to see the latest county in-and-outs in the game come release day (be it online or retail/disc versions), such as David Hussey to Nottinghamshire (http://www.cricinfo.com/countycricket2009/content/story/409603.html) and Hashim Amla to Essex (http://www.cricinfo.com/essex/content/story/410937.html). I know ICC has the most up-to-date rosters, so I sure hope we get to see the latest changes in the game and the most recent rosters. :)

They're only short term replacements so they probably won't be in the game, no.

Oh, that's a shame. :(
Is there a chance they could be included in a later update/patch?

There is no point putting David Hussey in, hes only here for a couple of weeks as cover for Adam Voges whos on Australia A duty.

So I guess the answer to the question, "Does ICC2009 allow you to sign multiple players, both on short-term and long-term basis, but only use one international player per match?" is no?

But hopefully Vaughan can be cut from the game...

He won't be for the release, nothing like enough time to change it.
Small changes, this is an interesting one. A lot of it happens, and at the moment, no, you can't have short term replacements for overseas players in the game, but you can in real life. So, when I was doing the research and I saw that counties had two players marked down as overseas, I had to figure out who I think would play the most for the county, and they were marked as the overseas. I think Glamorgan had two marked down.
In reality, we'd have to change the way the transfer system in the game works to include these short term replacements.

Glamorgan are pathetic and I dam well hope that the game reflects this. It don't look like Gibbs will be joining them anyway.

It was interesting creating them, I kept thinking "they must have more batsman", I think they have about 3 batsman who average over 30 in FC cricket.
Glamorgan's overseas is Cosgrove btw. :) We also made Shantry less brilliant.

He's called Mark Davies. For some reason ICC has his name as A, there are a couple like this in the game.

Ah, he's Andrew Mark Davies, but he uses his second name as his name for people to call him by. Initials for players from Asia is madness btw. I literally have a bald spot because of it
Mark Davies is a very good bowler, one of the best in the county circuit. He would play for England if he ever got a full season in, but he is very injury prone.

I've always liked the look of him too. His averages surpass anyone elses, but his injury record is terrible!

Hopefully James Harris has been made a potential wonder player. Also its shocking to find that only 3 of my home county average over 30. Shocking.

I agree, adding short-term replacements would be really interesting additions to the game. It would be a great step forward. :)

Yes! I hope Stuart Broad's finally better than Shantry in 09. :p
