 I would guess he plays for an English county apart from IPL?

No Warne isn't. He has retired and only plays IPL which isn't in the game.

Warne retired from all FC cricket (IPL is not FC) in 2007. That included his time at Hampshire..he left nearly 2 years ago.

So I can't imagine he is in the game

There will not be any new playable leagues this year unfortunately due to a lack of time and resources, however there have been some major changes regarding the teams for each player (they now have NH and SH teams inside the game database as well as IPL - which will also mean county players will be unavailable if on IPL duty),

according to this , there is IPL in icc 2009, correct me if i am wrong;)

He may be in it then but I don't think he'll be available to take on as your overseas player nor would he be able to play for Australia probably.

We have the IPL, but purely in the role that some players will miss cricket due to being on IPL duty. International selection takes precedence, even if you are a West Indian cricketer!

No, Warne won't be in the game. Even though he plays in the IPL he is not in the database because the IPL isn't playable.
