If you can make your post clearly, it makes it a lot easier for us. A format like:

Easier for us if it is formatted, rather than finding it in the middle of a paragraph, which we may list.

If we need to release a patch this year (which we probably will due to player movement alone) it should be easier than last year's delayed patch.

HD is a nickname for Hylton. His name (on his birth cetificate / passport etc) is Hylton Dion

Same for Hendrik Human Dippenaar, known as Boeta Dippenaar his actual name is Hendrik..his nickname is Boeta (little Brother)

So these aren't mistakes.

Nadeem Malik is Muhammad N Malik, so you are right there :)

As for the rest..all Leicestershire..don't care as long as Worcestershire beat them (sorry :o)

He wasn't put in by the data provider. He's banned from playing until September, I don't think we have a way of telling the game, "Don't pick him until September." This isn't a bug. I'll speak with Chris about it.

Graphical glitch

We found this in testing, but we couldn't replicate it to test it.

Yep, mistake here. Problem I think is that players weren't included in our data provider.
3. Nadeem Malik of Leicestershire has the inital (N)
Often happens with Asian players, his initials are MNM, which is why he shows as M Malik on the listings.
4. HD Ackerman of Leicestershire is listed as Hylton Ackerman, although it is his name, his common name is HD
Hylton is his name, we could change it to HD though.
5. Jim Allenby of Leicestershire is listed as RM although he is alot quicker than a medium pacer
Never seen him bowl over 80mph, or without the keeper up the stumps.
6. Wayne White of Leicestershire is listed as a bowler (All-rounder)
Got to disagree here. He has failed to hit a half century in 17 FC games and 21 OD games. Seen him down at 10 on scorecards too.
7. Boeta Dipennaar of Leicestershire has the inital (H)
This is how the game works, his first name is Hendrik, as pointed out by Paul.

in county cricket the bowlers rpo are really high for the current season e.g sidebottom has a rpo of 6.96 after 6 games of one day cricket.
Most bowlers rpo is between 6.0 and 8.0 on my current game.

Just did it and it took about 3 seconds. I have 8 windows open, including a browser (resource heavy) and a chat client (which can also be heavy).

What are your specs?

If it was me, re-start your computer. See if it does the same.

Few more minor Lancs player quibbles (slightly opinionated)

VVS Laxman is Lancashire overseas player this year, Prince was just brought in to cover for him until after the T20 and has left now.

Du Plessis isn't defensive, I might go as far as to say he's aggressive.

Tom Smith has opened the batting for most Lancs games I've seen this season, can all rounders be openers aswell??? I also don't think he's defensive and my opinion is he's a bit quicker than medium pace.

I think Chapple is more an RMF, while I didn't think Croft was quick enough to be an RMF. Mahmood, RF, debatable but probably right, he was clocking over 90mph consistently for the Lions.

Few things:

Salman Butt is down as a wicket keeper which is strange and the 4fielders inside the circle rule doesn't seem to be there although I always stick to it myself.

I also think Fawad Alam is more of an all rounder than Ahmed Shehzad but of course that is very much open to debate.

Paul Collingwood is listed as having a slight off side preference - must be a different one to the fella I've watched for years!

Finally, Swann bowling to Alam had a short leg and orthodox third man. It's innovative.

Anyway really enjoying it and hope I can defend 150 with Pakistan. Thanks for the work and let's hope the community really gets behind everyone and offers some good advice and feedback.

Its definately getting worse as the game goes. Just played a 4 day game and it became almost constant while on the screen card.

When playing "International only" bowlers seems to have extraordinarily high run rates and batsmen low strike rates in One day matches

This has been a slight problem in other versions aswell. As games are auto-simmed and aren't viewable I think that they should be shown like normal games when you're playing as a county. Would barely slow the game down I don't think.

Played 3 and the highest first innings score I've had is about 320, and most other times I've been bowled out by the end of the 2nd session to the end of the day. I can't seem to bat a day out!!! In fact he's a fantastic backward point fielder, but he would take the gloves if Pipe got injured. I think a batsman who can keep would be more appropriate.

Also, when you play as Derbyshire you will notice a slight (to say the least) drop in performance :D

Tom Smith is actually a medium fast bowler who opened the batting at junior level. At the start of the season when Loye was injured so there weren't many openers available Smith opened because he'd done it before. Or so I've been told:). Saying that he's pretty decent with the bat:).

Probably check your RAM settings and free space on your Hard Disk. If you have low RAM, or low physical space remaining, and your Hard Disk is low on space, your computer will delay itself while it shuffles all the RAM around to give you enough memory and space to switch to desktop.
Try closing some unwanted background programs (MSN, Winamp, WMP, etc.) and give it a go. Otherwise it could be your video card.

* Other major concern is that still in the game, skippng matches is a BIG HANDICAP, infact a penalty.

With my top 4 batsman each scoring over 35 (with couple of 50's) and bowlers bowling out bangladesh for meagre 60 runs, I decided to skip the next 20-20 match against Ireland. Got bowled out for 80 runs :( :(

Yuvraj, I would consider an aggressive batsman. This is why he struggles in the Test arena because he does not have the competence to bat patiently and for long periods, but thrives in the shorter format.

A few minor things,

Graham Napier isnt a spin specialist, he generally doesent do as well against spinners and likes pace on the ball like he did when he smashed 153* against sussex.

Mark Pettini Opens the batting.

I dont really know too much about lancs but i thought that tom smith and steven croft were aggresive batsmen who batted towards the top of the order?

Garry Park is an allrounder and a great fielder, but not really a keeper.

Grant flower bowls SLA, but when he bowls on the highlights it looks like hes always trying to bring it back into the right handers, which he doesent do. Im not sure if thats a bug or if all SLA do this.

Unrealistic and infuriating run chases - I was playing online with my mate and i needed 5/6 over off the last 10 overs and ended up losing it because I hit no boundaries in the last 5 overs - I was on very aggressive too full bars or one below with decent batsmen in - still a lack of sixes in the run chase in full 50 over games. Ridiculous that I lost it as should have easily knocked off the runs - even with good bowling and fielding definitely something wrong with the engine there. During this period, the batsmen played a few forward defensive shots just blocking which is ridiculous in this situation.

When playing online i cannot see my run rate well i can see at bottom the rate i need to score at but i do not see at what rate im scoring at, though there is option to click arrow and it brings run rate up but it only shows the graph can someone please tell me how i can see at what rate im scoring at please? it would be appreciated.I know this is bugs thread but just thought i would post here rather than making a new thread.

I've never seen Northants bowlers treated with so much respect! Udal's innings was reminiscent of Manoj Prabakhar in his shadier days - and THAT forward defence from Murto is one of the great ICC online moments ;)

Thanks for the feedback, Parry wasn't in because he didn't play in 08. He's not in the data provider file I have, which is why he's not there. He's played a few games this year, so I'll amend that.

Are you switching from Full or Windowed mode? Are all your drivers up to date? I use RadarSync to keep all my drivers up to date, it's free too.

He blatantly isn't. I think a better assumption would be to make him a batter who can keep, for example if Pipe gets injured. It should also be noted that he has bowled a lot for Derbyshire at various points this season, and actually took 3 wickets in a t20 match a few weeks ago.

But he doesn't really bowl in FC cricket; there are many part-timers who bowl occasionally in OD, such as Gayle or Tendulkar, yet aren't considered all-rounders. In previous editions he was a pure batsman.

When playing online i cannot see my run rate well i can see at bottom the rate i need to score at but i do not see at what rate im scoring at, though there is option to click arrow and it brings run rate up but it only shows the graph can someone please tell me how i can see at what rate im scoring at please? it would be appreciated.I know this is bugs thread but just thought i would post here rather than making a new thread.

4.Sudeep Tyagi who bowls 130 to 138's reguarly is listed as an RM , rather than RMF of RFM

5.Irfan Pathan is an allrounder i guess

6.Rohith Sharma is a part timer , not an allrounder

They don't play in the T20 WC in the game, but the "squad" is there. It's a bug by us, but was deemed too risky to change. I'm not sure if we can fix it for a patch or not, last thing we want to do with a patch is to create more bugs.

Just installed ICC2009.
Is there anyway to change the size of the window in windowed mode? It's quite a large window and I normally play in a smaller window.

I've had a go but hadn't had any luck. Any ideas?

Nope the Windowed mode is set and there is no way to change it in the game.

Changing the install location means that the automatically-created Desktop and Program Menu shortcuts ceases to work - they are set to the default install location.

im having some problems online the game just freezes on me whilst playing someone, it just says please wait opponent changing tactics, this has happened alot of times and it's nothing to do with my computer as it's brand new one maybe others had this problem also if yes it really needs fixing.

Yes sorry they arn;t in the T20 i misread it, when i clicked on them to took me to the to menu.

while its not really idea to change this game, maybe in future games it could be worked so that only played ODIs (as well as Ireland and Holland, Kenya)

Hmm, any chance you quit the game before it saved? It'd be good to look at the save game to see why that bug came about.

I had saved the game i just continued playing as normal.

I just had the exact same error as the person above.

Finished the Challenge Trophy group stage (as Middlesex).. it said my next game was on the 25th of May, 20/20 vs Surrey.

Saved the game, clicked on the button to continue to the next date. At this point, do not remember if I saved it or not. But inbetween, I then noticed that it had simulted my Quarter Final match against Hampshire :mad: without me even playing, nor going to a match screen for it.

Am playing County mode only.

Game has not seemed to recognise that my team had a match between the last group match and the first 20/20 match.

Firstly great game

Don't know if this is a bug as its been in every ICC that I have ever played but the crowd makes a different noise when the batsman is LBW so its obvious that he will be given out

Its a shame as you lose a bit suspence as you know the decsision

You've requeted me to put out screen shot for C Paget bizarre bowling avg. (last year stats), for which i was going through the players profile page.
i've purchased the full version online and only realised this (game freezing / crashing) when i tried to switch between players to check for their stats. it happened about 6 times.
Happens only when I attempt to change names and it happened whilst I was playig in full screen.

Can you clarify what it does when you try to do it? Does it exit the whole game, and if so, does it give an error report?

Can you e-mail us through our contact page. Firstly go to our support page for 2009, and do a directX diagnosis, then save it and send it to us in the e-mail.

If you can then give us a set of more detailed instructions on how we can replicate the freeze/crash. So a process on how you did it.

On my England game, virtually all the bowlers have 0 stars or 1 star bowling form and it makes it impossible to win any matches. Kind of similar to the bug where NZ have no stars. Can you look into this and fix it for the patch please?

Had Flintoff on a physio, he then went went to play overseas but he still has a physio and it won't let me take him off. Minor thing, dunno if anyone else has found it.

It would also be useful to be able to give physio to injured players in order to speed up their recovery.
