Hi All,

If you're reading this just after 7 BST, then you must be a real fan of the game. We haven't even advertised it yet!

Thanks so much for all your support while Empire went into administration. Sorry I've been a bit quiet, but things have been pretty hectic as you can imagine. At least I now know a few rich lawyers. Getting this game off the ground this year has been a minor miracle and I have to thank my parents for financing the game to carry on. It's nice to be away from the corporate world, although Empire were always great to work with and will be missed.

I've been playing the game for a while now and it's truly our best yet. The game engine and balance is superb and the new features iron out all the little things you've been wanting for years. Can't wait to get into my first competetive T20 match on-line.

We're now fixed to have Cricket Captain games for as long as we want them to happen. I'd best go before I get emotional.

Hope you enjoy yourselves as much as I do!

Chris Child

Well done Chris you've done a staggering job when you were unfortunately left in the lurch slightly by Empire sad demise.

Have had a couple of games thus far and all is looking good, I like the new layout especially.

I'm fairly new to this site, although I have been playing the game since it's inception, over ten years ago. I just wanted to thank you for a brilliant game and more importantly for ensuring that the series stayed alive. It really is a fantastic game, one that i have played habitually for a very longtime. The gameplay always has, and hopefully always will, reflected the game of cricket perfectly and this surely is it's biggest selling point. Of course people want more improvements, some simple ones like an improved database and more complex ones such as new leagues etc. Hopefully these will come with time. But for now i just want to reiterate:

Thank you Chris and all the team for creating an absolutely brilliant game, hopefully this new version will dominate my spare time equally as much as the previous editions

That's great to hear. Thanks. The game balance is always the most important thing for me as a cricket fan and I think we've got that much closer now that T20 has become such a big part of the game and shown what can be done in a few overs. I think Duckworth Lewis might need to take a look at their last 10 over equations as well. Now we’ve got the rights I can actually invest in the IP without the fear of it being sold to some Americans for a quick buck (which actually happened a couple of months ago before I wrestled them back), so keep the feature suggestions rolling in.

Less than a week to go until we can be playing this in front of the ashes!

We try to get things right first time, but we'll certainly patch when things come up.

Chris can you look at the regens development program as currently the development is fairly straight forward for every types of player and one more thing I like to add is the introduction of more stats just like Cricket Coach 09 having can you implement them in ICC10 version ?
