My 2 day trial only lasted a day :(

Yes I know it ends at midnight and that counts as a day but I started my Trial at 1:30am on 16/6 and it worked fine and when I tried to play the game at 1:00am on 17/6 the trail had expired.

Not happy as I needed some more trial time with this game to decide whether I want to buy it or not

It looks to be some problem with clock of Your PC,else noone has faced this problem for all versions of ICC released so far.

if one was to turn back the time of the Pc's clock would the game then work again? not a problem for me having the full version but i was just curious anyhow.

No the protection software detects the attempt and blocks it. So its not possible.
