What i would like to see is:
-Be able to sign players during the season
-Being able to loan players
-Being able to sign contracted players from clubs directly
-Being able to sign players on pre-contract. eg. Offering a contract for April in September
-Having clubs offer u money for your players
-Agreeing contracts with current players during the season
-Having influence on players considering retirement.
-Having players who are retiring staying with the clubs in some form of consultancy role, just to have them around...
