Very Important Issue about Online PLay.....

Sometimes we all have experienced some devil minded looser.If they find you in a good position in ranking they'll attend to play with you.And then they left the ICC idle take no action on selecting player screen left you waiting forever.And you must have to Disconnect Yourself that cause you a lots of point.

It can be done in several portion of the game as:


1)after winning toss selecting batting or bowling.. screen
2)WHen his batsman got out on the select batsman screen

and probably there are some other...


So I request the Authority to prevent that type of problem.They can set a maximum time limit on the idle screen.If Player doesn't take any action after that period it will be automated and Game advance...

I swear all honest player on ICC Online will love that Fix.

I think there are other problems with the server too...

my last two games have been disconnected automatically, causing me points... even though only one inning was completed at that point in time... i was charged with a disconnection...

is this common with others too as this has happened to me twice on the last couple of occasions...

Ya this is the common issue.The disconnections occurs due to server problems.So not much to talk about.

I have been told by a couple of online players that ag11 disconnects when playing online...

As far as I'm aware we haven't had any server issues. We are looking at improving the stability of on-line. Can't say much more than that.

There are server issues.When i bats very aggressively or opponent loses wkts quickly i receives error message saying 'server encountered problem'.The server needs to be more strong to handle 20-20 online.

My online games randomly freeze and then disconnect saying no communication received... even though i have adsl... i have lost approx 80 odd points because of this...

The advice to play full screen (a pain the the a** though it is) seems good. When the game loses the focus, that is when most issues occur. Data trasfer when one party or the other is not actively in the ICC2009 screen may well be a cause of a lot of problems.

If this does prove to be the case, I for one would like it looked at. I am often doing 3 things at once. I don't find ICC taxing enough to occupy me full time (normally playing poker and browsing or listening to MP3's), So a fix for "out of focus" stability issues would be great :)
